October Goodness 

 

Did you know that there are many food holidays?  I love that practically every day is a national food holiday.  I am just now settling into Crafted LA at the Port of Los Angeles, in San Pedro, California.  

As I do I have been reacquainting myself with fun food holidays and am offering make and take classes where you can make some miniatures and take them home.  

This month I am teaching you to make mini pumpkins, and mini lollipops that can make cute desk accessories, or they can be made into a charm. 

  I couldn't pass up the opportunity to let you know about the food monthly and daily holidays here..  Pretty soon there will be many more updates here about which classes will be available each month.   

October is not only National Cookie month, but also National Pasta, and National Pizza Month as well.  Below is a list of my favorite National Food Holidays for October.  

 

October 1st is National Cookie Day

October 15th is National Lemon Bar Day

October 17th is National Pasts Day

October 25th is World Pasta Day

October 26th is National Pretzel Day 

October 31st is National Carmel Apple Day 

There are many more food holidays but hopefully this gives you a little something fun to chew on this month.
