Beach Christmas
I am posting the photos I am using at the top of this blog. Any up dates and drawing updates will be in the middle of this post, and the extra photos you have access to will be at the bottom. Feel free to use any of these photo references for your own drawings / paintings. You may sell any art work you create with these photos.
Unfortunately due to demands on my time this Holiday season, I did not finish this drawing before Christmas. I am at least 15 hours deep into this project though. I will finish it at some point. I will post progress and my materials here as I go.
for the sky I used MG011
For the water I used MG031, GG010, and RG040
The sand was E989
I didn't like how choppy the lines are, but I am inexperienced with alcohol markers any tips on using them.. and reducing overlap of lines etc... would be greatly appreciated. You can see that I started the driftwood branch on the bottom with alcohol marker - but really didn't like it. The ornaments and branches will just colored pencil.
I will be using Mona Lisa Odorless Paint thinner and small paint brushes as well.
I will list these in order of use, incase you like the way these areas turned out. I started out with a light layer of the first few colors, then added the additional colors in the following order, but more or less as I felt would be best. L = Luminance, P = Polychromos
